Dunia-lahar has shut down production in the US and surrendered their lights to China. In the 90s, Craven-Walker, who had rights to Britain and Western Europe, sold his rights to Cressida Granger and his company, Mathmos, continued to make Lava Lamps and related products. Mathmos lights are still made at the original factory in Poole.
